Today’s Bible Story: God keeps His promises.
Noah • Genesis 6:8-33, 7:1-24, 8:1–9:17
Memory Verse: “God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9, NLT
Key Question: Who’s got it?
Bottom Line: God’s got it.
Say the memory verse and do the following motions in front of the children.
“God (point both hands straight up)
is with you (point out to a friend)
wherever (wave hands in a circle)
you go,” (march in place)
Joshua 1:9 (NLT). (Open your hands like a book.)
Ask these questions:
- What did God tell Noah to do? God told Noah to build a big boat because a flood was coming and He wanted Noah and the animals to be safe
- Were Noah and the animals safe? How did they know that it was safe? Yes, God dried up all of the water.
- How did God promise to never cover the whole earth with water again? He put a rainbow in the sky.
- Who keeps His promises? God always keeps His promises
- Who’s got it? God’s got it!
