DISCUSSION

Life App: Individuality—Discovering who you’re meant to be so you can make a difference

Bible Story: Right Now (Timothy) • 1 Timothy 4:12 (supporting: Acts 14–17; 1 Timothy 4:14; 1 Corinthians 4:17; 16:10)

Bottom Line: You can make a difference right now.

Basic Truth: I am made for a purpose so the Holy Spirit will help me do big things now.

Memory Verse: How you made me is amazing and wonderful. I praise you for that. What you have done is wonderful. I know that very well. Psalm 139:14 (NIrV)

Askthe following questions and discuss:

  • How can our words make a difference in the world or someone’s life? (our words can make a positive or a negative difference to someone. Discuss the importance of choosing to build people up.)
  • How can our attitude make a difference in someone’s life? Encourage kids to give an example of how your attitude can make a difference.
  • What can keep us from thinking we can make a difference?
  • How can you make a difference right now?
