What We’re Learning: Bad Advice, Week 1 of 4
Main Scripture: Matthew 7:24-27
Main Point: We can build our lives on a ton of different things, but only a foundation built on God will last.
Gospel Moment: When we build our lives on anything other than God, we set ourselves up for heartbreak and failure. That is the last thing God wants for any of us. He gave us Jesus to teach us this lesson and be the example for how to live. If we model our lives after Jesus’ we will live the way God intended us to live: wisely. This starts with making the decision to follow Jesus’ example and allowing His Spirit to lead us.
